where the $#(@ are they?

i lost my keys today. i looked everywhere. i even prayed to st anthony:

"St. Anthony, St. Anthony
Please come down
Something is lost
And can't be found."

remember, i'm not catholic... i don't pray to saints.

and then finally, i borrowed hubby's keys to take the princess kitty to a sleep-over at a friend's house and there they were... on the back bumper of my truck.

i did not put them there.
hubby did not put them there.
the princess kitty claims she did not put them there.
the silent prince is not allowed to even look at my keys.
the dog can't eat my keys and therefore has nothing to do with them.
the cats don't go outside.

i must have gremlins.

God's peace y'all

You think maybe you dropped them outside and some passerby picked them up and placed them there?

Or did St. Anthony come down and play a trick?

Several years ago, a pair of long-lost gloves turned up, neatly folded, on the back of my chair at my computer. It was the first day cold enough to need the gloves, but I hadn't put them there and Pandora definitely didn't. I jokingly blamed Mur for the lovely but odd incident.

Sometimes, our guardian angels have odd ways of popping up in our lives, especially when we've had just about all we can take.

Elves. The same ones that steal the sticky notes from my desk. I have no doubt.

I believe the kids, don't you? :-)

I use a little ritual I learned from my grandfather. (Remember that he identified as a Christian!) You use your "soul hands"--your sixth sense--to find the object. You say:

"Hand memory
return to me
Show me where
I put the keys".

"and vivian followed."
